We are seeking a
Specialist Teaching Assistant in Speech and Language to join our innovative and passionate trust wide speech and language service. This is a unique opportunity to work across a range of primary and secondary schools, supporting pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) to thrive both academically and emotionally.
In this role, you will:
- Work under the guidance of our Lead Speech and Language Therapist and SaLT Assistant to deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions
- Support staff in creating communication-friendly classrooms where all learners can participate, express themselves and feel valued
- Help identify needs, monitor progress and implement support plans
- Build positive relationships with families and the wider team to ensure inclusive and joined-up provision
