Lift Newlands is a specialist 11–16 school for students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, we are proud of the progress we’ve made and are committed to becoming ‘Outstanding’. Our vision — “Making our best better” — drives a culture of continuous improvement and shared responsibility.

We provide a fresh start for young people who have often struggled in mainstream education, offering a supportive, structured environment where they can thrive. With a deep understanding of each student’s individual needs, we focus on developing the skills, confidence, and values they need for a successful transition into adult life.
