Day Matron (Team Member)
This role will be as one member of a team of 2 to 3 individuals who will between them provide 7-day-per week pastoral care for the school’s boarding community through term time. The Day Matron team will play a vital and central part of the creation of a positive, supportive and happy culture within the boarding house. The Day Matron team will be responsible for supporting a group of around 45 full/weekly boarders aged 13 to 18 who board in School House, and a further number of pupils who flexi-board on weeknights and ensuring that all of these boarders are members of a safe, supportive, well administered and active community.
The roles are term time only positions which include Inset days. The Day Matron team is expected to cover an additional 5 days during the holidays in order to ensure the House is ready for occupation and well maintained prior to arrival of boarders. The rota will cover 7 days during term-time as follows (with appropriate breaks):
o Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm
o Saturday 9am to 3pm
o Sunday 3pm to 8pm
