Salary: MPS, £31,650 to £43,607 / UPS, £45,646 to £49,084 + £8,279 (TLR2.1)

Key Responsibilities: - Lead learning and teaching across the department by developing a curriculum that stimulates, challenges, and inspires pupils of all abilities to achieve the highest standards.
- Lead the analysis of pupil progress, deploying intervention strategies when necessary.
- Manage the department budget in accordance with the Academy's financial policies and procedures.
- Oversee the professional development of all staff within the department to ensure continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the learning and development of our pupils, while contributing to the overall ethos and success of the academy. As the Head of MFL you will play a key role, producing schemes of work and development plans for the department and monitoring their implementation, as well as supporting the staff within your department and teaching across the full age and ability range.
