The RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Design Technology. You will lead the DT department and be an integral part of our creative faculty. You'll be expected to:
- Lead and manage the DT department, ensuring outstanding teaching and curriculum development.
- Teach across Design Technology and possible support in Art and Photography as needed.
- Inspire students through engaging, hands-on lessons and high expectations.
- Contribute to whole-school initiatives and take an active role in the wider life of the Academy.

- Has strong curriculum knowledge and is confident teaching Design Technology.
- Is a skilled teacher with a track record of success and positive outcomes for students.
- Has experience of leadership and managing or mentoring other staff.
