Are you looking for a whole school leadership role where you can make a profound difference to children's lives?
We have a vacancy for an
Assistant Headteacher- (Curriculum / Achievement) to join our hungry yet humble Senior Leadership Team in the next chapter of our development.
To us, the person matters more than the exact 'shape' of the role. Whilst the broad remit of the role is likely to be based around Curriculum and Achievement, the exact responsibilities of the successful candidate will be agreed in partnership with the successful candidate.
We're at a really exciting stage of our journey. As the sole Secondary school in beautiful coastal town of Exmouth, we are rooted in our community and dedicated to giving our students a life of opportunity and fulfilment.
Our School Vision, developed in early 2024, is to enable our students to flourish through our core values of Belonging, Ambition and Responsibility.
We know that we've made clear strides in the right direction and our OFSTED report (February 2024), stakeholder voice and external School Reviews this year have reinforced this. However, we have high aspirations and we know that we still have a long way to go.
We have recently joined the Ted Wragg Trust and are really excited to harness the benefits of being part of one of the largest and best-regarded Trusts in the South West, both for our young people and our staff.
We would welcome an informal conversation or a visit in advance of making an application. Please contact Michaela Savage, Headteacher's PA ( michaela.savage@exmouthcollege.devon.sch.uk ).
