Director of Teaching and Learning & Head of English
Required for September 2025 / January 2026
You will work alongside the Prep SMT, overseeing and leading the development, delivery, and evaluation of an ambitious Prep School curriculum. This is an exciting new role at the Prep School, joining the Prep Leadership Team and reporting directly to the Deputy Principal/Principal.
The successful candidate will have an appropriate academic background and experience of teaching children across Years 3-6 in Key Stage 2. They will also lead the English department across the School, teaching Years 5 and 6 and supporting the rest of the English department in Year 3 and 4.
Applicants should have a teaching and learning philosophy in line with our growth mindset approach, nurturing independence of thought and academic success within the security of a strong pastoral care system.
