The Additional Learning Support team is recruiting a new ALS Transitions Coordinator within the Bristol campuses to support the growing number of young people that require extended support to access college. This role is fast-paced, creative and would suit someone who has a passion for supporting young people with barriers to education.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities - Manage transition into college for complex learners (with and without EHCPs)
- Attend EHCP reviews and liaise with external stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams for timely information sharing
- Develop SGS's transition process to ensure quality starts to learner journeys
- Gather and act on feedback from learners, parents/carers, and stakeholders
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications - Experience with young people with SEND
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to negotiate progression opportunities for students
- Excellent organisational, time management and presentation skills
