About the Role The Finance Department at SGS College is recruiting for a
Student Funding Officer based at our Filton campus.
We're looking for someone either already working in finance or interested in entering the field, who enjoys providing face-to-face customer support. This hybrid role offers a mix of finance responsibilities and student engagement - with clear progression opportunities within both the Finance team and across the wider College.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities - Provide financial support and guidance to students, parents, and staff
- Process student financial support applications in accordance with available funding schemes
- Support College debt management by encouraging timely fee payment and identifying funding eligibility
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications - IT literate to Level 2 standard
- Familiar with general office disciplines
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
- Customer service experience in a similar environment
- Experience working within a Finance function
