About the Role You'll become an integral part of a
dynamic, growing, and friendly careers team. Working within a 10-person professional team, you'll deliver high-quality CEIAG (Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance) services to students - especially those aged 16 to 19 who require support to realise and expand their aspirations.
You'll develop and deliver creative CEIAG activities, tools, and guidance sessions through both one-to-one and group settings.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities ( Full list available in the Job Description )
- Join SGS during an exciting phase of growth and innovation, including major investments in new facilities
- Become an active member of the 10-person Careers Team with regular CPD and peer support
- Collaborate with academic and pastoral teams to support student decision-making
- Create engaging CEIAG activities, digital resources, and tailored advice sessions
- Guide students in setting and achieving ambitious, future-facing goals
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications ( Full list available in the Person Specification )
- Qualified or working toward Level 6 or 7 in Careers Guidance (or equivalent coaching qualification)
- Experience providing guidance to 16-19-year-old students
- Knowledge of careers resources and services supporting pathways to education and work
- Experience working in a school or FE setting
- Skilled in using careers software for 1:1 support
- Confident delivering careers presentations and workshops
- Outgoing, personable, and supportive
