Many of our students aim to go on a study at higher education, gain employment within the sector or an apprenticeship.Key Tasks and Responsibilities- Deliver science-related content within the T level Health modules and other Level 2 courses with engaging lessons
- Design and develop course materials that bring theory to life and reflect current industry practices covering human biology, health conditions, nutrition and infection control
- Inspire learners to explore careers in health, social care and science through real-world examples, enrichment activities
- Prepare them for careers in nursing, midwifery, allied health professionals and more. Students will undertake industry-based placements predominantly within the NHS.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to aid success
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices
- Liaise with external agencies and care providers to enrich the learning experience
- Collaborate with a passionate team that values innovation, inclusion and student access
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications- A Level 5 teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards during employment)
- Either a professional qualification in healthcare, or recent experience in Health & Social Care OR a science specialism with a passion for applied learning, especially biology within healthcare.
