Position Summary:Caterham School and Caterham Sport Centre are seeking to expand their coaching staff to deliver high-quality sports sessions to pupils across both the Prep and Senior School. This role will focus developing the technical and tactical knowledge of our pupils whilst fostering a love of physical activity.
This role will require coaches to take a school team on a Saturday during the term in which they specialise in the sport. For example, Lacrosse coaches will have to take a school team on Saturday.
Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging training sessions and practices tailored to the needs of Caterham School Students
- Develop and implement age-appropriate strategies and skill development for
- Promote a healthy, active lifestyle.
- Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to enhance their athletic abilities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and events, adhering to school policies.
- Maintain sports equipment and facilities, ensuring they are in good condition and ready for use.
Qualifications:Essential - Accredited coaching qualification from NGB.
- Experience playing at a sport at an elite level.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- DBS
Desirable: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students of all ages.
- Ability to inspire and motivate pupils, fostering a positive team environment.
Work Hours:Rugby - 13:00 - 17:30 (3 days per week)
Lacrosse - 13:30 - 17:30 (20 hours a week plus Saturday - initially one term from 1 September)
