Temporary HLTA to run an out of mainstream provision
(temporary - from September 2025 to end of maternity cover)

We are looking for a committed and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant who can live the Tor Bridge values of courage, love and ambition every day. We need the successful candidate to transform the lives of young people at Tor Bridge High School. You will be a key part of the adaptive provision leadership team who leads the Study provision. You will need to be a highly proactive, professional, resilient colleague, who is selfless in the pursuit of overcoming barriers to classroom learning.
The successful candidate will provide targeted support so that students make exceptional progress to give them the best opportunity to live a life without limits.
Candidates should demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- HLTA Qualification or degree
- Confident in the use of ICT (Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook).
- Effective communicator who can talk warmly and confidently to students, staff, parents/carers and external partners.
- The ability to plan and deliver interventions that lead to impact.
- Experience working with external agencies and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- The ability to be proactive and support positive transitions back to classroom learning.
