Main Duties & Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver effective coaching sessions to children of all abilities as part of the Caterham School Netball Academy
- Ensure that players experience a safe, inclusive fun and positive environment in which they can progress their hockey skills.
- Assess and monitor player performance, provide feedback and guidance to support player development.
- Provide coaching in Term Time and School Holidays throughout the year
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications: - Minimum Level 1 Netball Coaching Qualification, though a higher qualification is desirable.
- Has played Netball at a high level and ideally has experience coaching in schools or clubs.
- Understand what is required to successfully develop players to progress and enjoy their hockey through your own playing experience
- Be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Can work as lead coach or as part of a team to deliver first class Netball coaching
- Be able to coach Academy sessions at Caterhams family of schools.
- Hardworking and reliable with high standards and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisational, timekeeping and communication skills
- Inspirational, enthusiastic, and a positive role model.
- Committed to personal development and self-improvement
Working Hours Expected Term Time up to 10 hours per week
Holiday Camps run during all school Holidays throughout the year.
