We seek a visionary and experienced Director of Studies to lead and oversee all aspects of teaching and learning, pupils' scholarly development and progress, and assessment to ensure the school's academic standards and results remain exemplary. The successful candidate is likely to have had some middle management experience and an outstanding career as a teacher to date. They will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining rigorous academic tracking and will champion the judicious use of new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to support pupil progress and staff development.
A key part of the school's Academic leadership, the Director of Studies, will sit on the Senior Management team as an Assistant Head and will work closely with the Academic Deputy Head, who line manages this role.
Competitive salary on the City of London Corporation Salary Scale for Teachers.
The successful candidate will teach a reduced timetable in their specialist subject
