We are looking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking Teacher of English with responsibility for EAL (Maternity Cover), who will lead our overall provision at Repton Prep, to ensure that the school provides an outstanding educational experience for every pupil to thrive in our care. This role is critical in helping our international pupils to seamlessly integrate into school life, whilst being pivotal in supporting our immersive boarding experience for the family of schools.
The successful candidate will be required to provide support in the Prep, delivering specialist English lessons whilst working as part of the wider whole school team. They will have the skills and experience to deliver first class teaching and outcomes for our pupils.
A willingness to be involved in all aspects of day-to-day life in a busy boarding prep school is essential. All staff are involved in the close pastoral care of our pupils, and the role will report directly to the Head of Personalised Learning, Senior Management Team, and ultimately the Head. The successful candidate will liaise effectively with the SMT, Admissions Manager, parents, pupils and staff to ensure that every child makes good progress.
The role is required from January or April 2026.
