Your new school
Lift Percy Shurmer is a large two-form entry primary academy that currently has 450 pupils aged from 3 to 11, which also includes 39 children in the Nursery and 22 deaf pupils in our Deaf Learning Base (DLB). The school is led by an ambitious and dedicated Principal, Miss Duffy, who has been with the school since 2015. She has established a strong and personable team and in 2023 were graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, who recognised "parents are overwhelmingly positive about the quality of education their children receive.'' They are now looking for an enthusiastic KS2 teacher to teach Year 3.
Your new role

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified teacher who has patience and understanding with young children. You'll be able to quickly adjust teaching methods to meet the needs of all children. It's important you have the flexibility to be able to handle unexpected situations with professionalism and patience in interactions with a variety of children and situations, with a calm demeanour.
