We're looking for a Nursery Teaching Assistant who is as passionate as we are about helping little ones grow, explore, and shine. This is more than just a job - it's an opportunity to be a trusted adult, a joyful companion, and an inspiring guide during the most magical years of a child's life.
What you will be doing-
Creating and supporting engaging, hands-on activities that spark imagination and curiosity
Helping children explore the world around them, using the 7 areas of the EYFS as a strong foundation
Being a consistent source of comfort, care, and security - someone children can rely on
Supporting the emotional, social, and developmental needs of every child in your care
Building warm, supportive relationships with families and keeping them closely involved in their child's journey
Working as part of a close-knit, passionate team who believe in the power of early years education
Encouraging each child's individuality while nurturing kindness, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning
This is a 32.5 hours per week role/ 38 weeks per year/ fixed term until 31st August 2026

Who we are looking for
NVQ 2 for teaching assistants/ equivalent qualification or experience
Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills relevant to role
Experience working with children in an educational setting
Professional manner with excellent communication skills
Someone with a kind heart, a patient manner, and a positive outlook
A team player with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
A creative thinker who's always coming up with new ways to engage and inspire
Someone who values the importance of holistic development including a child's mind, body, and spirit
A clear communicator, who can work closely with colleagues and parents alike
You will hold a relevant Early Years qualification Level 2 minimum
