Are you looking to make a difference every day? Lift Kingswood is growing, and to support our continued growth we are seeking a confident, proactive, and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged in learning and that classroom expectations are upheld.

You're someone who'll be able to: - Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes across the school in the absence of the teacher.
- Ensure students remain on task and follow the school's behaviour expectations.
- Manage the classroom environment to support positive behaviour and effective learning.
- Provide feedback to the relevant teacher about lesson progress, behaviour, or issues arising.
- Supervise students during non-class time when required (e.g., registration, breaks, exams).
- Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain the safety and wellbeing of all students.
- Assist with administrative tasks or learning support activities when cover is not required.
You're someone who has: - A minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- An A level (s) (or equivalent) within other subjects.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to young people.
- Confidence in managing a classroom and maintaining order.
- Ability to follow lesson plans and deliver instructions clearly.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to use initiative.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
