Your new role
Our science department is led by a dedicated Head of Department who joined the school in September 2026. We are looking for an ambitious and knowledgeable 2nd in charge of Science to support the next stage of our journey. The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting the Head of Science to quickly raise standards in Science and set the vision and direction for the department over the coming years. You will be joining a talented team of Science teachers and a technician.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with strong subject knowledge in science, strong classroom management skills and a passion for the subject. You will have a successful track record of improving the education of pupils and know what excellent education looks like in a classroom. Whether you're in your first year of teaching or your tenth, you will be warmly welcomed and supported here.
