Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term-time plus 5 training days)
Salary (FTE): ALT Grade E - £26,196.00 to £27,255.00
Salary (Actual): ALT Grade E - £22,432.04 to £23,338.88

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Reading Associate to join our team at Neale-Wade Academy. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students by supporting the development of foundational reading skills and helping to close the reading gap for KS3 learners.If you are interested in this role, we look forward to welcoming you to tour our school.
As a Reading Associate, you will: Work closely with students to build confidence and fluency in reading.
Deliver targeted interventions that foster a love of reading and improve literacy outcomes.
Support the organisation and logistics of small-group sessions, including light administrative tasks.
We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about literacy and committed to empowering young people.
Flexible, organised, and able to work collaboratively with staff and students.
Motivated to contribute to our whole-school culture of reading and learning.
