Key Tasks and Responsibilities - To respond the Estates Helpdesk requests as detailed, ensuring all maintenance requests are carried out within an expected period; identify and action immediately any Health and Safety issues; to follow up any problems that arise and liaise back to the Estates Building Services Manager with queries, problems and amended
- Undertake as directed planned maintenance tasks which may include painting and decorating in order to maintain a safe, clean and aesthetically pleasing learning environment. This role is important in ensuring the upkeep of facilities for staff, students and visitors.
- Basic maintenance tasks such as painting, lamp replacement, plumbing and managing completion of these tasks
- Maintaining security of campus and assets - this includes challenging learners and unidentified persons
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications - Key skills level 2 in both English and maths
