We are recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor at Eresby Special School, based in Spilsby, Lincolnshire.
About the role
Our cleaners play a pivotal role in our school, to ensure that we provide the best possible learning environments for our students.
Your role will be to supervise and lead the team of cleaners at the academy, whilst also having cleaning duties to fulfil. The cleaning staff take great pride in the school and have a vital role to play in the successful running of the school site.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- To oversee the cleaning of the school site as allocated by the Caretaker/Site Supervisor.
- To monitor stock control for all cleaning products and equipment and request replenishment.
- To supervise the team of cleaners in their assigned task.
- To act as a first point of call for cleaning teams and other school staff regarding all cleaning related matters.

The role is offered on a fixed term basis to 31st August 2026. 6 hours per week, 38 weeks term time.

Who we are looking for
Able to communicate clearly, understand and follow instructions.
Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
Previous experience of supervising a team of cleaners.
Ability to communicate with a wide range of people.
Previous experience of a commercial or academic setting.
Knowledge surrounding the safe storage and use of cleaning materials.
Take pride in a job well done, committed to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
