We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking secondary school. The successful candidates will ideally be able to inspire and excite our students with their knowledge and passion for the subject, fostering a love of literature, and helping learners develop essential language skills.

The successful candidate will:
- Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge learners of all abilities
- Assess, track and support student progress effectively
- Contribute to curriculum development within the English department
- Play an active role in the wider life of the school
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent)
- Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
- Is committed to high standards of teaching and learning
- Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with students
- Is reflective, organised and committed to professional development
