This is an exceptional opportunity to lead Geography at one of the UK’s foremost co-educational boarding schools.
Repton is a school where heritage meets ambition. Our academic standards are high, and our pupils thrive in an environment that values intellectual curiosity, creativity and personal growth. The Geography Department is dynamic and forward-thinking, delivering a rich curriculum that inspires inquisitive geographers and fosters a deep appreciation for the world around us.
We are seeking an outstanding Head of Geography to join us from September 2026. This is a role for an experienced and passionate educator who can lead with vision, energy and expertise. The successful candidate will shape the department’s future, ensuring that pupils achieve excellent outcomes while developing a lifelong love of the subject. They will also play a full part in the wider life of the School, contributing to our vibrant co-curricular programme and pastoral care.
We offer an attractive remuneration package, including a generous pension scheme, fee remission for dependents, housing, health insurance, and a strong commitment to professional development. Staff at Repton benefit from exceptional facilities and the opportunity to engage with our global family of schools.
Candidates should submit their application via the Repton Recruitment Hub, accompanied by a covering letter and the names of two professional referees.
The closing date for applications is 5 pm on Sunday 15 February. Interviews will take place, in person, at Repton on Thursday 19 February.
Due to the high number of applicants, it is not possible to respond to every application individually, therefore candidates will only be contacted if successful in the short-listing stage.
