20 hours per week (8am - 12pm), 38.6 weeks per year Be part of something that truly matters at Lipson Care for students. Remove barriers. Strengthen our community.
At Lipson, we believe education transforms lives - and outstanding pastoral support plays a vital role in making that happen. We are seeking a compassionate, organised and proactive Vulnerable Student Support Worker to champion the attendance, welfare and inclusion of our most medically and emotionally vulnerable students.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives in a people-focused environment and is driven by purpose. Your work will directly support student wellbeing, improve attendance and ensure that every young person - particularly those with complex medical needs - feels safe, understood and able to succeed at school.
This isn't just a support role - this is impact. You will work closely with our pastoral, safeguarding and leadership teams, as well as external health professionals, to coordinate care and remove barriers to education.
Your role will directly contribute to improving student attendance, reducing persistent absence and enabling young people to thrive in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
You will: - Support students with complex medical needs
- Coordinate care plans and act as a key link between school and health services
- Provide safeguarding oversight for medically vulnerable students
- Contribute to a team that supports each other and strives for excellence every day
