Wellington College is an energetic and forward-looking community where expertise, care and ambition shape every aspect of school life. Our historic yet continually evolving campus offers a distinctive environment in which staff play a central role in ensuring an exceptional experience for pupils, colleagues and visitors. Located in Crowthorne, Berkshire, with train and bus links providing easy access to transport connections, it is a vibrant place to be part of.
We are now looking for a full-time Electrician to join our Estates team, contributing to the safe, efficient and compliant running of the College’s diverse buildings and infrastructure. The Estates Department plays a vital part in maintaining our extensive grounds and facilities, and this role supports that work by delivering high-quality electrical maintenance, testing, and installation across a busy and wide-ranging site.
In this role, you will apply your professional expertise to ensure our electrical systems operate reliably and safely, helping to create the right environment for learning, living and working. You will work closely with the Senior Electrician and liaise with colleagues across the College, supporting projects, reactive tasks, and planned maintenance. Your attention to detail, commitment to high standards, and ability to respond constructively to day‑to‑day challenges will make a tangible impact on the running of a modern boarding and day school.
As part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to the wider life of the College by supporting events, assisting with improvement works, and helping to maintain the quality of our estate. Wellington is a place where professional growth is encouraged, and you will benefit from working within an environment that values development, teamwork and the opportunity to broaden your experience.
