West Exe School is a highly successful secondary school in the beautiful city of Exeter and without doubt, the greatest place to work in the Southwest. We have an unashamedly academic curriculum, disruption free classrooms and an unrivalled staff development programme. Our mission is a simple but ambitious one: to educate children so they live great lives and make the world a better place.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and capable individual to join our thriving Sports Health and Nutrition and cover teams, supporting teaching and learning across all areas of the School in addition to PE and sport. You will supervise whole classes across the curriculum areas of the school during short-term absence of teachers, responding to questions and generally assisting pupils in undertaking set activities. With your support, students, regardless of their social or cultural background, will be motivated to succeed and be supported to maximise their learning and progress. You will teach in our bespoke study hall with capacity for up to 70 children, ensuring our children get excellent provision from West Exe staff consistently. We can offer you the opportunity to work in a dynamic and passionate school, alongside dedicated and hardworking individuals.
If you are able to meet the requirements of this role and are passionate about becoming the best teacher and sports coach you possibly can, we would love to hear from you.
