Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: TLR2c - £8,611

Are you passionate about shaping young minds and making a difference through teaching? Neale-Wade Academy are looking for an ambitious Second in Maths to support the leadership of the hard-working Maths department.
About the role:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the learning and development of our pupils, while contributing to the overall ethos and success of the academy.
As the Second in Maths, you will play a leading role within the Mathematics faculty, being responsible for the coordination of curriculum development at KS3, 4 and 5, and deputising for the Head of Maths.
Key responsibilities:
Overseeing and producing Schemes of work (SOW), coordinating with other members of the faculty and ensuring that SOW relate to the Curriculum and include strategies for all.
Leading, developing and enhancing the teaching practice of others (delivery of Inset etc)
Coordinate a rolling programme of extra-curricular activities throughout the year which are appropriate and challenging, working with Head of Maths and support staff.
Support the Head of Maths in controlling the budget for resources.
