Rooted in values of kindness, respect and responsibility, the College blends tradition with forward‑thinking ingenuity, offering a workplace where people feel supported, encouraged and proud of the impact they make every day.
As part of our Domestic Services team, the Laundry operation is central to the rhythm of College life. Located in Crowthorne, Berkshire, with train and bus links providing easy access to transport connections, the College offers a welcoming and well‑connected working environment.
We are now seeking a Support Manager – Laundry for 32.5 hours per week, 42 weeks per tear (term time plus) who will lead the daily running of our central laundry facility and guide a dedicated team to deliver a reliable, efficient and high‑quality service. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a fast‑paced operational setting who enjoys motivating others, shaping processes and maintaining strong working relationships across a diverse community. You will bring clarity, structure and a calm presence to a service that supports over a thousand pupils, ensuring high standards are met consistently and that communication with House teams remains strong and professional.
You will be a visible and supportive leader, confident in managing workflow, monitoring quality, resolving challenges and promoting safe working practices. As part of a collaborative and friendly department, you will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, using your insight to help develop a service that is both efficient and responsive to the needs of a dynamic boarding school.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to College life while developing your leadership within a supportive and community‑minded environment.
