We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated level one teaching assistant to join our supportive team at Feversham Primary Academy, in Bradford, on a fixed term basis.
You’re someone who’ll be able to:
- Improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
- Support with KS1, but be flexible to support across the school.
Support students so that they can; access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
You’re someone who has:
- Motivation and enthusiasm
- Understanding of pupil’s learning needs, including specific SEND needs, in order to support their access to lesson content.
- Interest in extra curricular activities for our pupils.
- Phonic understanding.
- A background in music would be advantageous but not essential.
- The skills to help students to develop independent learning skills.
- Ability to deliver individual and small group targeted interventions.
- Although this role is fixed term, there may be an opportunity to extend the position or make it permanent in the future.
