We’re looking for a dedicated level 2 teaching assistant to join our warm and welcoming team at The Green Way Academy, in Hull .
You’re someone who’ll be able to:
- Improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
- Support students so that they can; access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
- Provide classroom and phonics support in partnership with teachers.
- Deliver interventions for groups of children or individuals independently.
You’re someone who has:
- Motivation and enthusiasm.
- Understanding of pupil’s learning needs, including specific SEND needs, in order to support their access to lesson content.
- The skills to help students to develop independent learning skills.
- Ability to deliver individual and small group targeted interventions.
- A level 2 qualification in a relevant subject is essential, level 3 is advantageous.
